| Sam Sneed is Sneed Photo's founder and principal photographer. Sam began taking photographs when he was 11 working with his father, a radiologist and an accomplished amateur painter and photographer. Sam continued his photography and art work while attending college at Yale. At Yale he studied art history and was mentored by one of the country's finest print makers, Gabor Peterdi. Sam began incorporating his photographs in his electronic, mixed media sculptures while attending law school at New York University School of Law. While there, he received his first significant commission for one of his large, electronic works from Paul Rudolph, then Dean of the Art and Architecture School at Yale and a renown collector of electronic art. After moving to Philadelphia and co-founding Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Sam continued his art and photography. He has shown his electronic pieces at the Makler Gallery and was offered a show of his electronic work by Ivan Karp at O K Harris Gallery in New York City. Sneed Photo is a project of WRS Consultants, Inc.
